Decorative Painting in the Nursery

Try a mural in Baby’s Room
This little dormer nursery was converted from attic space. The mother-to-be loves Gnomes and little woodland creatures. So the walls were painted to look as if you are standing in a clearing in a misty forest. Fanciful characters from storybooks and legends were placed in playful poses to add a touch of whimsy to this new little boy’s world.

Kids' Rooms

Playroom Kingdom
A converted attic gives this little princess plenty of space to play and use her imagination. She has her own little castle and plenty of colorful flowers and butterflies.

      Parisian Bathroom
It’s a simply divine private retreat for this lucky girl. Pretty pinks and whites combine with accents of black to create a special view of Paris. The theme is carried throughout the girl’s bedroom as well.

Fun room ready for play time
This little girl’s room gives her a special place to keep away from the new baby down the hall. It features playful insects and butterflies and friendly little bumblebees. The colors tie in with the gingham covered toy storage baskets and furniture. It’s a perfect place for fun times with little friends.

New York State of Mind
A cityscape of buildings and skyscrapers decorates the walls surrounding this school age boy’s bed and adds a nice touch to some otherwise awkward dormer walls. The colors are from the Devine color palette from Miller Paint Company.

Norway Mural
This mural is on the walls of a powder room. The owner’s have a heritage of Norwegian ancestry. So we got together and using photos of the area along with ones from a family homestead, we came up with the idea for this landscape-covered room. By sticking with the sunset time of day, I was able to take advantage of the reflections in the water that gave the appearance of the mirror. The scene wraps around the room and comes up behind the custom-cut granite backsplash and a castle in a field of flowers near a rocky beach.
