MURALS FOR HOSPITALS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, CHURCHES, BUSINESSES, & OTHER PUBLIC SPACES

The City of Fairview commissioned Carolyn to create a mural in their city Hall back in 2001; their motto was “Fairview, a community of History and Vision”, so the design incorporates images from the past, present and future.

Carolyn painted murals for the lobby and foyer of Grace Pointe Church, as well as a Mount of Olives mural in a classroom for Gladstone SDA Church.

A game room at the local Ronald McDonald House was created by a group of designers and decorative painters as a charity project. Using trompe l‘oeil logs for the walls was Carolyn’s idea, based on a previous mural in a boy’s bedroom.

As part of a team of artists from Cascade Artisans Guild, Carolyn designed and helped to paint a mural in a room at the Children’s Relief Nursery, a non-profit that cares for young children from at-risk families.
